We will traverse a wide variety of steep and rolling farmland typical of Rangitikei Hill Country and often not appreciated from the comfort of State Highway 1.

This 4 x 4 trek is designed for the whole family. Entry includes morning tea on arrival and a picnic lunch will be provided. A cash bar and BBQ will operate in the evening on completion of the trek. Please bring cash and nominate a sober driver.

Overnight camping (self managed, BYO tent) is available either at Vinegar Hill (8km North) or Simpson’s Bush Reserve (opposite the starting location) on Friday night and at Otairi Station on Saturday night if required.

Please note - All terrain tyres are required. This Trek is not suitable for all wheel drive cars. Numbers are Limited – please register by 25th February to avoid disappointment.
