Rae Abraham was appointed as Nga Tawa’s first Director of Boarding in 2014. She leads the team of 12 dedicated boarding staff aiming to provide a safe, supportive environment where students can thrive. She is also the Boarding Manager for Year 13.
Rae has held positions from Invercargill to Kaitaia throughout her career as a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife and Counsellor with MNZAC.
As a mother of three with six grandchildren Rae has natural empathy with students, staff and parents. She says she is often amazed by the achievements and talents of the young women who have the privilege to live and learn at Nga Tawa.Email Rae.
