Isabella is the 1st XI hockey coach. She is a Nga Tawa Old Girl and has been involved in various national and regional representative teams in both hockey and archery.
She started playing in the Women’s Division 1 hockey competition in Palmerston North at 16 years old, and was awarded the most improved hockey player for the High School Hockey Club in 2019. Previously she placed for Marist Hockey Club and in 2017, she was voted their MVP and top goal scorer.
In 2019, Issy was awarded her 100 caps for Nga Tawa and scored 100 goals whilst playing for the Nga Tawa 1st XI. Issy captained the Nga Tawa team alongside Hannah Williams in 2018 and individually in 2019. In 2018, Issy was the top goal scorer for the Jenny Hair Cup.
Outside of hockey, Issy was the female captain for the International Trans Tasman Archery competition which really helped her develop her leadership skills and love for coaching.
