As Bursar, Helen Campbell is responsible for financial and property management at Nga Tawa.
As an Integrated school Nga Tawa is required to operate as two separate financial entities – the Board of Trustees which receives Ministry of Education grants and Teacher’s salaries and the Nga Tawa Diocesan Trust Board which owns the land, buildings and is responsible for maintaining the Boarding Establishment, the Equestrian Academy, co- curricular activities such as sports, music and drama.
Helen is secretary to both Boards and also a member of the Senior Leadership Team. She manages staff in Catering, Environment, Grounds and Maintenance and Administration teams. She also manages Novopay and the Diocesan payroll.
She has extensive knowledge of Nga Tawa, having been in the Bursar’s role since 2002 and a parent of two daughters.
