Teacher Aide – Literacy and Numeracy Support
Fixed Term – Terms 2 and 3
4 Hours per week
Nga Tawa Diocesan School is seeking a motivated and supportive Teacher Aide to work one-on-one with a student to help strengthen her literacy and numeracy skills. We are particularly looking for someone with strong numeracy capability and a passion for helping students grow in confidence and understanding.
Previous experience as a Teacher Aide or Primary Teacher would be ideal. The successful applicant will be patient, reliable and able to build a positive working relationship with the student they are supporting.
This is a fixed-term position for Terms 2 and 3 (approximately 30 weeks), working 4 hours per week.

We’re looking for someone with:
A background in education, youth work, healthcare, or similar people-focused roles is a bonus, but we’re really looking for someone who wants to make a difference and foster a warm, supportive environment where our girls can grow and flourish.
Hours are 3:00 pm – 10:30 pm, five days a week, with minimal school holiday time required for planning and professional development.
