Student Opportunities

Open Day
Friday 28 March

At Nga Tawa our Anglican special character is integrated into the wider life of the school, informing all we do. This creates many opportunities for the students to get involved in the work of the Chaplaincy.

Our Chapel services are run with high student involvement including the opportunity to speak. We have a group of students, led by our Head of Chapel Prefect, called Sacristans. The Sacristans meet weekly to plan services and special events. The Head of Chapel Prefect is a Year 13 student appointed to work closely with the Chaplain to nurture the spiritual life and special character of the School.

Additionally there are camps and day events offered during the year for students to attend. These enable students to meet other Christian young people, learn and be encouraged as they continue their spiritual journey.

Our School Chaplain is available to meet students for support, to answer questions, and encourage them in their spiritual development.
