Anthea was born and bred in Wellington and has been riding since she was just four years old. Anthea followed her passion of riding through pony clubs, riding schools and grassroots competitions. This led her to a Bachelor of Agri Science Majoring in Equine and a Post graduate diploma in Agi Business at Massey University Manawat?. While studying, Anthea was able to work and coach at Kyrewood Equestrian Centre in Kairanga.
After graduating, Anthea followed her passion for agriculture when she worked her way from an intern at Ballance to become a Key Account Nutrients Specialist. She decided to come to Nga Tawa in 2024 as this was a great opportunity for her to work full-time with horses focus on her love of equestrian sports. She also brought her horse, Jett, with her, who she has had since he was a youngster. She is slowly progressing Jett through the levels in dressage.
